Silent Night

For song of the week, I bring you a Christmas song. It's such a shame that we don't sing Christmas carols all year long, but then I suppose it would not be as special and become mundane when the Christmas season actually rolls around. Still, once in a while wouldn't be bad, right? :)

Enjoy one of my favorites!

Silent night, holy night

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon virgin Mother and Child

Holy Infant so tender and mild

Sleep in heavenly peace

Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!

Shepherds quake at the sight

Glories stream from heaven afar

Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!

Christ, the Saviour is born

Christ, the Saviour is born

Silent night, holy night

Son of God, love's pure light

Radiant beams from Thy holy face

With the dawn of redeeming grace

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth "
